What is Spectra?
Spectra is a macro system for real time detection of humidity and granulometry curves in atomized powders.
SPECTRA is fitted with a HarleNIRfiber vision system developed by SEA Vision and is designed to adjust to a wide range of production plants, by leveraging Proteo Engineering experience and know-how.
What does Spectra do?
The vision system makes it possible to adjusting set-up in a dust vein, accurately measuring the humidity level and the granulometry curve. The measurements can be taken on a moving vein and a static vein, in real time with a sampling frequency not less than 30 seconds.

The percentage of humidity is measured through NIR spectroscopy in infrared with a fiber optic sensor, while the granulometry curve is measured using a high resolution camera. The dedicated lighting systems are made up of two linear halogen lights positioned in parallel to one another and two LED white light bars positioned in parallel to one another.

The accuracy of the measuring systems is supported by proper calibration of the relevant instruments, for which the procedures are indicated and described in the user manual.
