How does MIR work?

Compared to traditional handling systems, MIR is a step into 5.0 Industry thanks to its substantial technological content (including artificial vision, cognitive computing, and smart sensors), which place the human being in the heart of the production process by enabling machines to improve efficiency by self-integrating in daily operations.

MIR is a valuable, smart and efficient assistant, conceived natively to work together with humans from a perspective of absolute confidence and collaboration. It is equipped with sensors that can detect any potential impact with third party elements in advance (including people and other objects and systems on the factory floor), and process alternative pathways to prevent stoppage.

What is MIR for?

Because of its versatility, MIR does not replace traditional industrial robotics, but is instead trained to integrate with existing systems and plants, to increase process productivity, reduce costs, and guarantee better safety conditions in the workplace.

The MIR collaborative robot makes it possible for organizations to optimize several organizational and logistics aspects, impacting various steps along the process supply chain — from movement of goods to semi-processed items and tools — and ensuring extreme accuracy and cycle timeframe compliance.

The introduction of MIR in productive processes can favor a significant quantitative improvement, providing outcomes that are immediately quantifiable.

MIR Products

AMR (890 mm x 580 mm) transports loads up to 100 kg and up to 300 kg with MiR Hook. Execution time: 10 hours; Maximum speed: 1.5m/s.

MiR100 is highly flexible and can be mounted with customizable upper modules, including containers, shelves, elevators, conveyor belts, for any type of application. The upper modules are easy to change so that the robot can be redistributed for different tasks.

AMR (890 mm x 580 mm) transports loads up to 200 kg and up to 500 kg with MiR Hook200. Execution time: 10 hours; Maximum speed: 1.1m/s.

MiR200 is highly flexible and can be mounted with customizable upper modules, including containers, shelves, elevators, conveyor belts, for any type of application. The upper modules are easy to change so that the robot can be redistributed for different tasks.

AMR (800 mm x 580 mm), transports loads up to 250 kg and has a maximum speed of 2 m/s. This is the most agile collaborative robot available on the marmket, highly adaptable to cope with the most challenging spaces. Thanks to its reduced size, it can move in tight spaces up to 80 centimeters, also through doors and elevators, which generally represent obstacles for autonomous mobile robots.

MiR250 is designed to guarantee long duration and 24/7 service, thanks to the option to replace the battery rapidly. Designed according to current applicable safety standards for mobile autonomous products, it is the safest AMR available on the market. According to specific needs, the MiR250 is also available in the ESD version.

AMR (1350 mm x 920 mm) transports loads up to 500 kg.

MiR500 is equipped with the latest generation laser scanner, providing 360 degree vision for premium safety. Its 3D video cameras have a range of 0 to 3.5 meters above ground to identify both workbenches and openings in the floor, including stairways. MiR500 is extremely simple to use; the intuitive MiR Robot Interface controls the AMR through a smartphone, tablet, or PC, and can be instructed without any previous experience. The robot can also be integrated in the ERP system for a completely automated solution.

With MiR500 you do not need to change the facility arrangement, since the use of cables, magnets, and QR codes is replaced by a sophisticated navigation software. You can create a map by simply downloading the CAD file of the facility, or using its laser scanner. Nothing else is needed to ensure quick and efficient implementation.

Thanks to easily and quickly integration of different upper modules, the MiR500 can be easily equipped with pallet lifting systems, conveyor belts, robotic arms or other options, for a wide range of applications.

AMR (1350 mm x 920 mm) transports loads up to 600 kg.

The MiR600 is equipped with the most recent laser scanning technology, providing a 360 degree vision for premium safety. The 3D video cameras have 30-2.000 mm capacity above floor level to detect pallets.

The MiR600 is a stronger and safer AMR. The MiR600 complies with the highest available robotic standards, making it superior to other AMR on sale. Thanks to its greater ability to resist dust particles and fluids, and comply with the highest safety standards in the market, the MiR600 is safer, more stable, and more reliable than any other AMR on the market.

MiR600 is the first AMR IP52 classified together with other robots for heavy duty MiR uses. Thanks to its greater ability to resist dust particles and fluids, this mobile robot can be used in various environments, including in proximity to open gates or other places where it is exposed to water droplets and dirt.

Thanks to easily and quickly integration of different upper modules, the MiR600 can be easily fitted with pallet forks, conveyor belts, or other options to support a wide range of applications.

AMR (1350 mm x 920 mm) transports loads
up to 1000 kg.

The MiR1000 is equipped with the latest generation laser scanner, providing 360 degree vision for premium safety. With 3D video cameras detecting everything within a height between 30 and 2,000 mm above the floor and with two sensors at each angle, this robot identifies pallets and other obstructions that are usually difficult to detect for other robots.

MiR1000 can be used in combination with Pallet Lift MiR modules for automatically picking, transporting, and delivering pallets. It is very easy to use, can be controlled through a smartphone, tablet, or computer through the intuitive MiR Robot interface and can be instructed without any experience. By integrating it into ERP systems you can create completely automated solutions. It can be inserted into the MIR Fleet with other MiR models, with the possibility to control different robots in the same fleet.

You can easily and integrate its different upper modules with pallet elevators, conveyor belts, robotic arms, or other instruments.

The MiR1000 complies with ISO/EN 13849 standards and comply with the electromagnetic requirements for use in industrial and light industrial environments. The MiR1000 is sturdy and designed for use in an industrial environment, with its resistant covering that can withstand possible falling loads.

AMR (1350 mm x 910 mm) transports loads up to 1350 kg.

The MiR1350 and the most powerful MiR complies with the highest available robotic standards, making it high-class to other AMRs.

Using pallet lifting machines specifically designed by MiR, this autonomous mobile robot can pick, transport, and deliver pallets automatically; it represents a safe alternative to traditional pallet lifting equipment and carriages, which often report safety risks. At the same time, the MiR1350 does not require a work team, unlike traditional pallet lifting systems, and therefore it optimizes pallet transport and frees up time for operators to dedicate to other tasks.

The MiR1350 is the first AMR IP52 classified on the market; it has improved and protected components that make it resistant to dust particles and fluids.

Based on specific requirements, you can quickly and easily change the MiR1350 upper modules, equipping them with pallet forks, conveyor belts, or other applications.

Nipper is a compact self-driven vehicle for transport of pallets without a team. It can lift up to 1000 kg and navigate tight spaces, making it a versatile and intelligent transpallet robot that can lift pallets directly from the ground.

It is a perfect vehicle for use in production and warehouse, thanks to its scanners. It lifts up to a maximum of 1000 kg of any type of pallet.

High quality safety components – including 360° scanners and Blue Spot – ensure that Nipper can navigate with absolute safety, including in spaces occupied by humans, making it an excellent vehicle for use in production and warehouse.
